Great authentic Mexican cuisine. The service was excellent and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Ambiance is great and prices are reasonable. They make great cocktails and have a great wine list. I Highly recommend checking this place out.

This is by far the best restaurant we've been to in Mexico City, which says a lot because the food in CDMX is overall, glorious. Very off the tourist path, Nicos is worth the drive. Everything we tried was insane/life changing delicious. The Caesar salad, the sopa seca de natas, tostada de tinga, rollo de pollo en mole, todos comida es perfecto! The wait staff was friendly and extremely professional. Truly a special place, homey and not pretentious, we will come back whenever we visit. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation!

What an amazing resteraunt. My friend and I went to many of the top rated resteraunt in Roma area, but the late Sunday lunch we had at Nico's was the best meal we had. The molé was fantastic, and the wine selection was good. The service was impeccable, thanks Rogelio Galindo! For the tourists looking at this review, it isn't that far from the main areas and is absolutely worth a visit. 10/10.

I have nothing to add except that this place is a perfect as all the other write-ups say. Nico's has risen to the top of my favorite dining experiences during our food-packed visit to Mexico City.

Nico's was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. My husband and I shared our dishes, and they even went out of the way to portion and plate the dishes separately. Impeccable service! The sopa de nata was absolutely divine. The egg-type crepe was so unlike anything I've ever had and paired perfectly with the tomato based sauce. I really enjoyed the mole too. We ordered the turkey mole, and it had such a dynamic taste. Each bite had new flavors and was quite strong but just the right amount of strong that it's not overwhelming. It was wonderful! I so enjoyed my experience eating at Nico's and can't wait to return when we're in Mexico City again.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but the food here was generally good. Our favorites were the guacamole, mango ceviche, and the pork.

I Get it....it is a bit of a hike to get to the place but come on...pay the extra pesos from Roma or wherever you are staying or living and go bc it is so f'ing worth it. Of course, it looks like it is something out of an El Chapo documentary as it is certainly not cutting edge by any stretch of the imagination (aesthetically speaking) but it is just straight up killer authentic Mexican food. You are a total clown if you don't try it out. From the extremely nice and accommodating people working there to the traditional/uber (yes, I just said "uber") delicious recipes....it is just fan-f$cking-tactic. Do not change Nico's bc you rule. Bottom line...There should be zero stars under five for this joint. Oh, and thank you for the mezcal cart. It just fueled my review. My girlfriend wants to mention that specifically our server exuded nothing but class and generosity (as he would bring us dishes to try out our of the kindness of his heart). And, he even walked us to the uber to make sure that we were safe and sound. So cool. Adios and thank you!

Amazing. This was our first meal in CDMX and I'm so glad we made the trip. (It's about twenty to thirty minutes north of the center of the city.) We ordered a lot. Guac, Caesar salad, sopa seca de natas, tortilla soup, pulpos a la Antigua (octopus in its own ink), enmoladas de mole negro. Everything was excellent, but we were particularly blown away by the salad (unlike any other Caesar salad I've ever eaten -- more about the egg/oil/mustard than cheese, for example -- and apparently the Caesar was invented in Mexico?), the sopa seca de natas (almost like a tomato casserole, or a "Mexican lasagna," as my wife called it), and the octopus (although this was more me than my wife -- if you love ink you'll love this). This was a lot -- we were very full at the end. Even beyond the deliciousness of the food, it's a fun atmosphere with a friendly staff and a live band. This would be high up on my list of places to recommend people coming to CDMX, and we'll almost certainly be back on our next visit.

Wow this was one of the best brunches that I have had in my life. Every dish should be experienced with fiends and turned into a taco!! My favorites were the chicharrones con salsa Verde and the guac. The guacamole is table side and made to spice preference. Also the salsa that they bring out is out of this world's!! I highly recommend the salsa Verde which we got an entire bowl of. If you are feeling frisky, definitely perise over to the mobile mescal bar and get a drink. It will change your life!! We viewed the wine menu which was extensive. I would have ordered a bottle at 7pm, but at 10am we were very happy with the food, Mexican coffee, atmosphere and mezcal based drinks.
